ASK Safety USA provides courses and training for officers and crew in the cruise industry at our purpose-built facility only a few minutes from Port Canaveral. We have a strong focus on being innovative and offer the best solutions for our customers – by carefully considering teaching methods, costs, and efficiency. Our course portfolio is built up according to regulations from the STCW convention and the US Coast Guard.

ASK Safety USA is part of a larger group named the ASK Group, which has 30 years of experience in coaching personnel in the fish farming, maritime and offshore industries. The companies within the group are certified according to approval bodies like ISO, Maritime Authorities, Oil and Gas Associations.

The facilities

Our training facility has been specially designed for STCW training. The center holds multiple state-of-the-art classrooms with modern presentation equipment, skilled and certified instructors, and an exercise area with a training pool. The pool is used, among other things, for Personal Survival Techniques (PST) training. We have recently also launched two fully operational MES(Marine Evacuation systems) stations at our facility. The Marine evacuation systems were supplied by Viking Life-Saving Equipment, and the VIKING Evacuation Dual Chute VEDC and VIKING Evacuation Dual Slide VEDS are efficient and intuitive MES-systems allowing for rapid and safe mass evacuation of passengers and crew.
